Why failure is your greatest teacher..
Failure isn't a setback, it's a setup for a comeback.
for some reason we live our lives fearing failure.
If we aren’t perfect, we are then considered failures.
Well I'm here to remind you that is not the case.
You will fail, it is inevitable.
In fact, most of the people you idolize were once considered failures.
Michael Jordan failed to make his Junior varsity team his freshman year of high school but ended up becoming one of the greatest basketball players of all time.
Walt Disney had multiple failed business attempts and was even fired by his editor for “lacking imagination.” Yet, he ended up creating a place that most of us consider the most magical place on earth.
What do they both share in common?
The way they respond.
They do not let fear derail them from their goals rather they use it as fuel.
Imagine if Walt Disney would’ve listened to his editor, the magical world of disney that we know and love would not exist.
If Jordan would have quit basketball, the game would not be where it is today.
Think of all the people that have been inspired by their works. Imagine all the people that would not be where they are today because they decided to quit.
Now imagine all the people who would be let down if you allow failure to stop you.
If it were easy everyone would do it.
The fact that it is hard is the reason it is working.
Remind yourself this is what hard feels like.
And this is where most people quit.
Failures are just lessons in disguise.
, show them how failure is not the end, just a chapter in the story of life.
All the best,
Omar
